Hey guys H and I could use some help cleaning brush away from our property line...and painting trim outside of the house...unfortunately this would not be a paying job...but hopefully we can get back on our feet there will be more work that we can pay for...If there are men at COTC that might be willing to help..It would be so much appreciated...As you know H has MS and gives out easy so this is just too much for me to do by myself...Thanks for praying about it.

We've been made aware of a family who has suffered the loss of their home which seems to have precipitated the father having a heart attack.
They are currently renting a home in Wears Valley, but have need of a few more things. If you can provide any of these, please mark them "BENEVOLENCE - FIRE" and leave them in the foyer by this Friday, March 9th.
If you have items to share with this family or if you'd like to go and purchase something new for them, please put this on your to-do list. We need the items delivered to Church of the Cove by THIS FRIDAY.

Our Son-in-law, Chris King, has been laid off from work in the Nashville area. He and our daughter, Melissa, are seeking guidance concerning their future. Should he start his own construction business or take a temporary job until business picks up for the company he worked for. We think he is capable of starting out on his own, but it is not our decision. Please pray that the Lord will give them a clear indication of His plans for them and their 3 children.

Dawn called us tonight (2/12) from Ft Sanders. She said she was admitted last Friday after a fall at her home in Townsend. Her mother found her unconscious. They've determined that she was anemic and had poor kidney function. There is also a blood infection from a previous knee surgery. She's to meet with her orthopedic surgeon tomorrow to determine what to do next. Dawn seemed very disoriented and confused. Please pray that a proper course of treatment can be found to address all these issues.

Rebecca Burris has asked us to pray for 16-year-old Aimee. She was in a severe car accident and it took more than two hours to cut her out of the wreckage.
As we share this on Tuesday (12/27) afternoon, Aimee is currently in surgery to repair both her legs. Please pray for her and her family.
Alot of you know Keith Palmer from Crossville Mission Bible Training Center, well he is requesting your prayers for a job. Keith has a degree in theology with a minor in communications. He is a wonderful public speaker and he knows that God wants to use that. He also has a love for teenagers, ones at risk and ones that just need someone to talk to. He is at home in Westerville Ohio awaiting God's marching orders but also is helping to take care of his mom who has alzheimers..He is asking that you pray for God to show him clearly if he is to move or what...He is willing to go whereever God wants him to go...I have never seen anyone so committed to doing God's wlll, Although I don't recommend praying for patience for him, do pray for peace and a stillness to wait on God and His best...Thank all of you for your love for Crossville Mission Bible Training Center...
Pray for all of the graduates and ones that left early from that program...Some that I know of right now arer Frank McCarron in Indiana, Amy Cranford in Crossville, Ben Hightower in Alabama, Cynthia Curatola, Alabama, Jeb Ross Louisiana, Chris Williams in Dothan, Alabama, I know many others but these are the ones that come to my mind righht now...Even though they are out, they still have struggles...Blessings to all!

Billy is the father of Chris Evans, who used to attend COTC regularly. He is currently at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center's emergency room -- fifth time in 2011. He has Stage III Emphysema and has been exposed to both strep and meningitis in the past week.
Please also lift up Chris and the rest of the family as they deal with this and other family issues.

She's in the hospital right now, with a possible fractured spine due to a fall. She's in excruciating pain and we don't know what the doctors will do next.
Thank you and God Bless!

Hi my name is Edward Joseph Hamilton. I am 26 yrs old and a Trainee Counselor here at CMBTC. Today I love doing the Lords work and enjoy helping others find the joy I have found in God. Growing up I had awesome parents who were and still are on fire for the Lord. Somewhere along the way I got off track and began using drugs and alcohol because I felt that it was what I had to do to have a good time. Almost immediately I began taking them to the extreme and found myself in jail time and time again. When I was 19 and deep into my addiction, I was involved in a severe car accident that almost killed me; but God chose to spare my life. I believe God allowed this to happen to me because HE was trying to get my attention, to show me that life is a privilege and not a right. I believe that when you are a chosen child of God, He will continue to you to your knees until you get the point that you will finally recognize Him as Lord. And that is exactly what God has been doing in my life ever since I stepped out of HIS will; not to hurt me but to help me. He wanted me to see how much better life would be if I'd only put my trust in Him and not myself. in 2008 I entered Mission Teens (CMBTC) and truly accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord. After I graduated I slowly got back into drinking and God immediately brought me back to my knees and showed me that I cannot serve two masters. After reentering the program I have experienced how much greater my God is than before and love introducing Him to anyone who is willing to listen. A life without Jesus is a life without purpose. God BLESS YOU! Please keep Edward and his fiance in prayer as he seeks God's will for their future...
God is Great All The Time! Just wanted to put out a list of needs that Crossville has. We will be going to minister on November 7th if you feel led to come. Believe me, you only have to go once to be hooked on the presence of God that is there! You will come home asking "When are we going back?" So please, if you heart is beating like its coming out of your chest, be obedient. Blessings always follow obedience! If you feel led to meet any of the needs below please let me know..Crossville is completely faith based. They take no state or federal funds so that they can preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Everything that they get is prayed in and God has always provided. God may want to use you this time to meet a need...Jesus loves you and so do I..
