Thank You and A Prayer Request
Posted by Debra Tipton
I just wanted to stop and thank EVERYONE that donated clothes and shoes for the 5 graduates! I am sure they willl be so handsome in their new clothes! I also want to thank those that agreed so wonderfully to accept a card with a graduates name on it and to commit to pray from January 28th to January 28th 2013.. Its going to make a difference in their lives even though you may never meet them personally, on this side anyway. You will also be setting an example for other churches to jump on board and do the same thing! Just think what a difference all of these prayers would make in their lives and the lives of their families..
I still have 12 names that do not have a prayer partner...Help me pray for 12 more prayer warriors to step up to the plate to pray for these 12. See me on Sunday if God is leading you to take a name or even take a second name.
2nd Prayer Request is this for Keith Palmer one of the graduates. He needs a job and a good job to pay off alot of his bills. He has a chance at possible oil rigging but its not looking good right now...Please pray that if this is the job that God has for him that he will get a breakthrough and if its not that God will plainly show him that there is something else he has for him...Keith is an awesome counselor and knows the word. He has a degree in Doctrine and Theology and also communications...Those of you that know him, know he is an awesome communicator!! God could use him in soooo many ways!! Keith needs PEACE most of all right now that God is in control...Help for Keith to surrender it all to God...Some of you know what its like to have the bill collectors driving you crazy..Love all of you so much and thank you for loving Crossville...and supporting my passion for changed lives forever! Blessings to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I will have the names of all the graduates on Sunday for you to pick and commit to pray over for one year. January 28th 2011 to January 28th 2012. You just have to lift them up every day for one year...The first year is the hardest for them..They are hit with stressors of finding a job, adjusting to family again, keeping their focus on Jesus, old friends coming around...You may be the only family that is praying for some of these! Please see me Sunday if you are interested,,,Thanks so much and Abundant Blessings on all of you...Deb
We have 5 guys that will be graduating from Crossville on January 28th. We need pants, shirts and shoes for them if you can help by adopting one of the guys or you may already have these sizes. I have index cards with their names and sizes on them if you would like to get one on Sunday. We also need you to write a note of encouragement to your guy and commit to pray for him for one year...The first year is the hardest with all of the temptations that are thrown at them...Looking for a job, adjusting to family, old friends etc...Are the stressors that can cause them to start using again and you can be part of their success just by praying and getting them off to a fresh start with clothes for graduation and job interviewing...Please email me if you have more questions.. Blessings Deb
Don Emberlin Family
Posted by Faye Bryant
Many of you may remember Don & Karen Emberlin who attended Church of the Cove when they lived in Wears Valley.
Please pray for Karen Emberlin and the family of Don. He passed away peacefully in his sleep Sunday night. Arrangements are unknown at this time.
They don't have a lot of family around this area -- Karen has been very dependent on Don for getting around. Everything is up in the air and can seem scary.

My mother has a supporting post on her front porch that needs replacing..A car backed into and it is almost coming off its foundation. It is also rotten from water damage so it probably needs to be replaced all together...Please pray that someone will respond or that we can find someone to fix it in the community...We can pay a reasonable price to have it fixed..Thanks so much! Aimee
Posted by Faye Bryant
Rebecca Burris has asked us to pray for 16-year-old Aimee. She was in a severe car accident and it took more than two hours to cut her out of the wreckage.
As we share this on Tuesday (12/27) afternoon, Aimee is currently in surgery to repair both her legs. Please pray for her and her family.
Alot of you know Keith Palmer from Crossville Mission Bible Training Center, well he is requesting your prayers for a job. Keith has a degree in theology with a minor in communications. He is a wonderful public speaker and he knows that God wants to use that. He also has a love for teenagers, ones at risk and ones that just need someone to talk to. He is at home in Westerville Ohio awaiting God's marching orders but also is helping to take care of his mom who has alzheimers..He is asking that you pray for God to show him clearly if he is to move or what...He is willing to go whereever God wants him to go...I have never seen anyone so committed to doing God's wlll, Although I don't recommend praying for patience for him, do pray for peace and a stillness to wait on God and His best...Thank all of you for your love for Crossville Mission Bible Training Center...
Pray for all of the graduates and ones that left early from that program...Some that I know of right now arer Frank McCarron in Indiana, Amy Cranford in Crossville, Ben Hightower in Alabama, Cynthia Curatola, Alabama, Jeb Ross Louisiana, Chris Williams in Dothan, Alabama, I know many others but these are the ones that come to my mind righht now...Even though they are out, they still have struggles...Blessings to all!

He was not able to say anymore about the procedure because he was trying to her ready to leave the motel they were staying in.
Please pray for both Ruby and Wayne. This storm is wearing them both down. Please God, give them strength that can only come from You.
