Ruby had a biopsy performed on her brain tumor yesterday(12/14) at Duke Univ. Wayne said she had another seizure this morning when they were trying to get ready for the return trip home. He was not able to say anymore about the procedure because he was trying to her ready to leave the motel they were staying in.
Please pray for both Ruby and Wayne. This storm is wearing them both down. Please God, give them strength that can only come from You.

Spoke to Wayne this morning(12/19) and he said Ruby is in good spirits. Her sister is staying with them, helping where she can. Wayne said they could get the pathology from Duke anytime this week. He spoke about the uncertainty of the future, but he think

Spoke to Wayne this evening – the pathology report from Duke came in today. They were informed that the tumor is cancerous, but very treatable. Wayne said that Duke is the best in the world in the treatment of this particular type of brain cancer and the

On 1/12, Dottie & I spoke to Wayne concerning Ruby's status. She underwent her first chemo treatment yesterday and is undergoing radiation today. The radiation treatments will continue for 6 weeks. She is being treated at Blount Memorial and will stay in

Spoke to Wayne on 1/25 and he told me that Ruby checked out of Blount Memorial on Monday 1/23. She has had no seizures since beginning her cancer therapy. They will continue radiation 5 days a week for the next month and then run a new scan on the tumor.
